Pricing questions

Do beneficiaries need to pay?

Never. Beneficiaries create free Genlocker accounts, receive their partial cryptographic keys, and can access their designated documents after verification — all at no cost. You pay for the vault; they access it for free.

What happens if I cancel?

You can export all your documents any time. After cancellation, you have 90 days to download everything before your vault is securely deleted. We'll email you multiple reminders.

Is there a setup fee or document fee?

No. The annual price is all-in. No per-document charges, no setup fees, no transaction fees when the vault is unlocked.

What does "verification turnaround" mean?

After a beneficiary submits a death certificate, this is how quickly we complete our manual review and release access. Basic plan: 48–72 hours. Plus and Family plans: 24 hours. We don't charge more for faster review — it's a plan feature.

Can I upgrade my plan later?

Yes. Upgrade any time from your account settings. You receive prorated credit for the remaining time on your current plan.
